From the
plateau you come along a beautiful view point. There you can
relax and after 15 minutes you come across a road that branches
off: left Leoval and right the Ireneval. The walk to the falls
can be challenging because it is a lot of climbing, but the
effort is nevertheless worth it. During your visit on Brownsberg
also visit the Mazaronival, Kumbuval and the Witikreek.

Characteristics: This fall
has been called after the well-known tree expert and gold digger
Leo Roberts. He discovered this fall while he was on a discovery
voyage through the forest.
Ireneval
There and

Characteristics: The Ireneval
has been called after the princess Irenebrigade who came here
for practice. Near these falls you can still find remains of the
goldmines of John Brown, the man after whom the mountain has
been called.
Mazaronival
There and

Characteristics: The
Mazaronival has been called after the Mazaronitop, one of the
two tops on the plateau. The other top is the Brownsberg.
Kumbuval
There and
back: 3.56 km. Course: away

Characteristics: Looking at
the large boulders which lie here, it is clear to see
Witikreek
There and
back: 13 km. Course: away
± 110 minutes back ± 180 minutes

Characteristics: The
witikreek end in in the stuwmeer, hence that one in former days
with a small boat to Brownsweg could sail. During the walk you
will notice that you encounter several bunch types.
In former days gold was here also
found.
